You are getting 12 bobbins, they are generic, with thread in a bobbin box.
The measurements on the bobbin box is 3 1/4" by 4 1/4" x 1-1/8. As you can see by the size this bobbin box, it does not take up much room and is a great way to store your bobbins.
If you do a lot of sewing, it is good to have more than one, keep all your blue colors in one, reds in another, greens in another and so on. For embroidery machine use, it would be good to use one to keep your embroidery bobbin thread in it.
